Greetings! I have a nudge and note and new project...
The Nudge
We're two-thirds of the way to the BackerKit pre-order stretch goal of $10k! Very nice! It's going to be close whether we'll reach that goal for a new short story by yours truly. I've not written Scarred Lands fiction for a decade, and look forward to returning. To help, I've just nudged those of you who have not answered your survey with a reminder and link from BackerKit.
Whether you have answered or not, then please encourage your friends and social circles to consider the new books with this link:

The Note
Great news! We've added Chris Sims to our 5th Edition Compatible team! Chris was at WOTC as part of the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition team. And now he's ours! At least for a time. He's going to help make certain the 5th Edition rules for the Scarred Lands Player's Guide are perfect.
The New Project: Storypath Cards
I launched a new project on Kickstarter last week. It's already funded and we've cleared two stretch goals, but I would love your support to help the project grow even more. The project funds four decks of Storypath Cards and a new edition of Whimsy Cards. The oldest (er... wisest) of gamers may recognize these products from the the olden days of gaming.
Storypath Cards empower and encourage players to add to the narrative in any roleplaying game. Just as it was a pleasure to hear from many of you during this project about your memories and fondness for the Scarred Lands, the new Storypath Cards project has drawn similar comments, including from players who still own and use their original cards from 1990! Pretty amazing. I hope to make new fans of many of you.
I wrote a brief history of these cards as that project's first update. It might be fun reading even if you're not interested in the cards themselves.
As a final note, it's an extra pleasure to mention these cards to you folks because just as the new Scarred Lands material is a publishing collaboration between myself and Rich Thomas, we collaborated in a fashion on the original Storypath Cards too. Rich illustrated each card of original Path of Horror and Path of Intrigue in 1990 and he's doing new artwork for the face of each card in these new decks.
