Will it be down to the wire to reach 1000 backers and the next major stretch goal of $60k?
The dust will settle in about 24 more hours. Either way, this has been great fun. I think I've forgotten how much fun the Scarred Lands provided to fantasy RPG players a decade-plus ago. Thanks for all the reminders and memories. We fully intend that the new Scarred Lands Player's Guide delivers the same for you again and for a new generation of players too.
A Couple Notes
The way the project is going, I firmly believe that we will make the $60k stretch goal and a free The Wise & The Wicked 2nd Edition for all backers at pledge level $18+. So you'll find a print edition of this now as a fully available add-on option here. If we fall short of the stretch goal, then the PDF will not be a free bonus. However, in this case, the PDF will be included with purchase of a print copy.
Also, if we end up shy of $60k, then the 2nd edition will be missing the 7+ characters from the original edition who did not get "voted in". However, these will be partly replaced by new characters as a result of the WISE OR WICKED pledge level (two slots still available, with bonus character Vladawen added if all six slots are pledged).
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Backers at the $18 pledge level receive all the unlocked and updated characters from The Wise & The Wicked, including the complete PDF of the 2nd edition, butonly backers at pledge levels $30+ receive all the stretch goal bonuses, including the 3e bonus PDFs, Dead Gods Trilogy (three novels), and new short story by Richard Lee Byers. This amounts to up to $100+ of bonus material for a slightly higher pledge, so please consider making the jump!
New Pledge Levels
Don't want to mess with project add-ons as a la carte? Then I have new pledge levels for you! Note that you may add $10 to any of these in order to also include a set of Scarred Lands 6d6. There is a small $5 discount on the print add-ons if you use these new backer levels, but they are mainly intended to make the add-on process a bit easier.
$75 — PATHFINDER PLUNDERER
Receive the print and PDF editions of the new Pathfinder Roleplaying Game version of the Scarred Lands Player’s Guide. Also included are print editions of the PFRPG versions of Gauntlet of Spiragos and The Wise & The Wicked 2nd Edition. Add $10 to the pledge amount if you would like a set of Scarred Lands 6d6. Also add $10 if you would like the PDF of the 5th Edition Compatible version of the SLPG as a PDF.

Receive the print and PDF editions of the new 5th Edition Compatible version of the Scarred Lands Player’s Guide. Receive the PDF and printed editions of both the new 5th Edition Compatible & Pathfinder versions of the Scarred Lands Player's Guide. Finally, you also receive PDF copies of the books included in any TWO of the pledge levels $25 and below (your choice). Add $10 to the pledge amount if you would like a set of Scarred Lands 6d6.

To follow up on the list from the prior update of the character archetypes, bloodlines and prestige classes that appear in the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game version of the Scarred Lands Player's Guide, we offer this detailed treatment of Coreanic character options in both the PFRPG and 5th Edition Compatible versions of the SLPG.
I've received several questions about our add-ons and how to get them. We currently have these add-ons available:
$10 Gauntlet of Spiragos (PFRPG version) (print)
$10 Gauntlet of Spiragos (5th Edition version) (print)
$10 set of Scarred Lands 6d6 (1 of each d6 option)
$10 set of Scarred Lands 6d6 (6 of a single d6 choice)
$50 collection of Scarred Lands 36d6 (six of each type of d6)
$varies any PDF collection available as a pledge reward, e.g. $20 for CREATURE COLLECTOR
In addition, you may go ahead and add $25 for The Wise & The Wicked 2nd edition print add-on if you would like and/or if you think you will not able to do so toward the end of the project. You WILL be able to add this later in a pledge manager, but at that time it will not help the project toward more stretch goals. If you add the $25 and we do not reach the $60k stretch goal, then we'll refund the $25 (or find other stuff you want to buy...!).
There is no extra shipping charge for any of the physical add-ons!
How to Manage Your Pledge for an Add-On
On the main project page where it indicates your pledge amount, there is a green button that says "MANAGE". Click that and without changing your pledge level, add to your pledge amount. For instance, if you're backing for a $45 physical copy reward and you also want a set of dice and a copy of Gauntlet of Spiragos in print, then enter $65 for your pledge amount (to which the base shipping charge will still be added).

Mythic Material! PFRPG Character Classes! New Stretch Goals! New Add-On!

Thank you all! 200% of our goal at $40k funding! This is outstanding. And… and…! We still have a week to go, including what can be very exciting final days!
That $40k stretch goal unlocked mythic material for both editions of the SLPG. The material will be quite different in each version, so backers receiving both versions really benefit from this extra material.
Character Classes
Due to the characters unlocked at the every $1000 stretch goals, there has been speculation and discussion about the classes/archetypes included in the SLPG. I’ve received a number of messages about this too, including from one backer very early on to whom I promised a good discussion of the matter. I won’t fully deliver right now, but I’ll start the conversation.
Since Pathfinder was already a known commodity when we started work on this project, the PFRPG version of our Scarred Lands work was created first and is pretty much ready for printing. The "Classes and Archetypes" chapter of the Scarred Lands Player's Guide for Pathfinder contains over three dozen archetypes, five bloodlines for bloodragers or sorcerers, and five prestige classes, as listed below.

Now that we also know what’s included in the new SRD under the 5e OGL, we can make final adjustments to the 5e versions (still in development / playtesting.) The final lists of that content are very much subject to change still — but we can't wait to share it with you soon! We’re preparing a few samples to show you what we have in mind.
New Stretch Goals
Sitting over $40k now, I feel pretty certain that we’re going to make it to the $50k stretch goal where we add True Rituals to both versions of the SLPG. Beyond that mark, you already know how the every-$1000 character updates and every-$5000 PDFs march on, but what about other stretch goals? Well, we’ve got ‘em!
I’ll add this information to the project page too, but here’s a list of the new stretch goals.
I know, the big goal at $85k seems like quite a long stretch, but I wanted to make the offer in case it helps fire up extra backers!
$52,500 = Choose a 7th PDF!
$57,500 = Choose an 8th PDF!
$60k = The final eight characters in the original edition of W&W are unlocked and will be updated to both systems to create a complete new edition with new cover artwork and additional rules required to create all the characters. The new edition also includes the characters added by backers at the WISE OR WICKED pledge level. All backers $18+ receive the free PDF. A print edition edition becomes available as an add-on for $25.
$62,500 = Choose a 9th PDF!
$67,500 = Choose a 10th PDF!
$70k = Brand new short stories by Stewart Wieck (SL co-creator) & Scott Holden (developer of the new SLPG). The details of the stories will be determined with backer input and then Stewart and Scott will choose the story they prefer to write.
$72,500 = Choose an 11th PDF!
$77,500 = Choose a 12th PDF!
82,500 = Choose a lucky 13th PDF!
$85k = Dagger of Spiragos, a new 40+ page full-color adventure that follows Gauntlet of Spiragos (there will be versions for both game systems). This adventure is already being written with the intention to sell it when the SLPG launches, but if we reach this amazing stretch goal amount, then we’ll give it to all backers at $30+ as a FREE bonus PDF. A print edition becomes available as a $10 add-on.
New Add-On
We're now also offering print editions of both versions of the Gauntlet of Spiragos as $10 add-ons. You may only add these if you are supporting at $45+ for physical copies of the SLPG. There is no additional shipping charge as a result! You may add $20 to your pledge if you would like a copy of both versions of this full-color adventure.

The 5e OGL Gauntlet of Spiragos
The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game version of Gauntlet of Spiragos was available when we launched our project, and now the OGL 5th Edition Compatible version is available as well. This is a free full-color, 44-page adventure! We hope you enjoy both versions.
Mythic Campaigns
We're steadily closing in on the big $40k stretch goal that adds new material to both editions of the Scarred Lands Player's Guide. Please consider adding dice to your pledge to help boost us toward this great goal.

New Material! We’ll add a 10k word Mythic Campaigns chapter to both editions of the Scarred Lands Player's Guide. This chapter addresses mythic rules from Pathfinder for use within the Scarred Lands. It includes three dozen new mythic path abilities and numerous mythic locations. For 5th Edition, this chapter will address issues primarily for characters of high level, expanding on rules from the DMG for supernatural gifts, marks of prestige, and epic boons.
Along the way, all backers $30+ will pick up a FOURTH free PDF from our library of Scarred Lands supplements already on DTRPG. Plus, all backers $18+ already have 14 updated characters from The Wise & The Wicked, and at $40k you'll have twenty free characters. In many cases, these characters require us to develop archetypes that are not included in the core books, so these characters represent a lot more free additional material than "merely" NPC stats.
Dice
Just a refresher in the event you wish to add dice to your pledge rewards. A set of six d6 is $10, while a full collection of 36d6 (six of each d6 type) is $50. There's no additional shipping fee after your initial pledge for physical copies of the SLPG!
If choosing a $10 set, you may either select 6d6 of all the same die (e.g. Hollowfaust) or you may choose to have one of each type available (i.e. all of them shown in the graphic below). You do not need to tell us your choice at this time. Just manage your pledge and increase your pledge amount but do not change your pledge reward/level.

We're very pleased with this great start to our Scarred Lands Player's Guide project. Thank you all very much for the tremendous early support. Just 48 hours into the project we're already 75% funded toward our non-trivial funding goal! That means we're only $5k away from not only funding, but an every $1000 stretch goal of adding free updated The Wise & The Wicked characters to all $18+ pledges.
On this point, the project text about stretch goals was incomplete. Please allow me to clarify: at $45+ you receive all the stretch goals, but at $18+ you will still receive the W&W characters. Plus if you back at $18 for a new SLPG PDF, then your PDF will obviously include any new material that's added to the rulebooks themselves. Note too that SCARRED LANDS SCHOLAR receives any new fiction unlocked via stretch goals.
Backer Icons
A really fun part about this project is that we're making the SLPG for both Pathfinder and 5th Edition. Plenty of you are choosing both, or at least one in print and both in PDF via the DEFENDER OF TWO FAITHS pledge at $55, but for those who wish to make their choice known, we've produced these two backer icons. Have fun with them!
We're off to a wonderful start, but especially with your help we can really push this project to great heights. Please share the project with your friends, even ones who might no longer be gaming as much. They may recall the good 'ole days of a decade-and-a-half ago when they played 3e OGL in the Scarred Lands. And spread the word to your Pathfinder and 5th Edition friends, and on sites where these are discussed.
