The folks from Nocturnal have asked me to ask you to double check your shipping addresses on BackerKit and to make sure that the address you'll want your rewards shipped to this month is correct.
In 48 hours, which would be this Friday afternoon in the Eastern US, we will lock down your info, make sure everybody has been charged, and Nocturnal will send the shipping info to their fulfillment shipper. My understanding is that they, Nocturnal, will then be working closely with the fulfillment shipper to get your rewards out in May.
Phew!
I'm also going to send out a reminder from BackerKit once I finish sending out this message. Hopefully that will cover our bases so that everybody gets their rewards just fine, we really don't want to have delivered your reward to an old address because we weren't told there was a new one. That's no fun for anyone!

With the Slarecian Vault anyone in our SL community can create projects that can be set to go on sale on DTRPG.com using the templates and guidelines available on the site. If you ever had a Scarred Lands idea for an adventure, sourcebook, or other sort of SL-based projects, now you can get them into the hands of the public and get paid for it too!
We already have two new titles being prepped for the Slarecian Vault, and we hope that with your help we'll have many more to come!

Word from Nocturnal is that the fulfillment shipper has everything they need to ship your rewards, they now need to work out the schedule and fit us into their shipping plans (they ship a lot of books and games out every day).
Sorry I mentioned March in the last Update now, and my apologies if I got anyone's hopes up. To get the ball rolling, I will personally be sending out the posters to anyone who pledged for, or added-them on, direct from the printer to you.
And as I said last month, once we know for sure from the fulfillment shipper when they will start, we'll notify everybody and get addresses confirmed and all that.
So, really hoping to be reaching out to you all in April!
Meanwhile in a very different game world:
Yesterday we started our latest Kickstarter campaign, for the Dragon-Blooded: What Fire Has Wrought source book, or "fatsplat" book, for the Exalted 3rd Edition game line.
Dragon-Blooded: What Fire Has Wrought introduces the Dragon-Blooded in 3rd Edition and all the rules necessary to feature them as player characters or NPC antagonists, including character creation rules and the element-based Dragon-Blooded Charm set of powers. This book will give an iconic view of the Dragon-Blooded, from their mythic origins as the armies of the gods to their place in the current era.
Because we made sure that the complete text for this book was finished before we ran Dragon-Blooded's KS, we can provide one quarter (more or less) of the book's text to backers each week of the campaign and get their feedback along the way. (Plus, if a backer doesn't like the text, they can cancel their pledge before the KS is over). This is the first big book for our new dev team, and judging by what we're hearing, it seems they've knocked the (fire)ball out of the park with this one!

February Scarred Lands Update!

From what I am hearing from Nocturnal, the dice are expected in the shipping fulfillment warehouse any day now, and that should open the door to shipping your rewards in March. I'm going to say later in March, and since I'm working with this process, not running it, that is just an estimate based on what info I'm getting.
There have been all sorts of little surprises and hiccups as we've pulled together the strands of this Kickstarter, but that has to be expected considering the situation.
Total digression, but one the word "strands" brought to mind: I have always loved the Spider-Eye Goblins, and it's why I made them the chief baddies when I wrote the first draft of the Gauntlet of Spiragos adventure. Plus, I was the guy who did the original illustration for them in the first Creature Collection, so there is history there. A lot of folks don't connect RichT the Onyx Path publisher, with Richard Thomas the illustrator, but we are in fact the same fella.
Digression aside, once we know for sure from the fulfillment shipper when they will start, we'll notify everybody and get addresses confirmed and all that.

Only 24 hours left for the Trinity Continuum Kickstarter!
Onyx Path's latest Kickstarter campaign is for the reboot of the Trinity Continuum featuring the Core Rulebook (and modern era setting) and the Trinity Continuum: Aeon setting book is down to its last 24 hours (less actually as I write this)!
We're at well over 300% funded, and have blown through 23 Stretch Goals that add all sorts of extra material for everyone's enjoyment (although not to the books as their texts are pretty much finished, and we want to roll on them quickly).
C'mon and check it out: we've released the full text for the Trinity Continuum Core book and have released all but the final chapter of Trinity Continuum: Aeon, and that final chapter get released tomorrow!) for backers to read through!

NOT AN UPDATE ABOUT SHIPPING THE BOOKS, sorry.
I know folks get excited when a KS Update goes out, but this is just about the Scarred Lands FRPG and Wise & The Wicked 2nd PDF links.
For those who tried them lately and they were broken, I have replaced the links. I believe you will need to go to your BackerKit page and the Digital Downloads section to click on them.
If you have already downloaded either book's PDF from the original link, your PDF should be just fine and you don't need to worry about it.

January Scarred Lands Update

I've been told that the dice are progressing, but that the Chinese New Year (they are being manufactured in China) will throw a wrench into that and that we will have to see whether the SL dice can ship in February.
I'll be talking to the fulfillment shipper as to whether they can start shipping any packages that are just the SL books, and then follow up with the rewards that include dice and/or other projects from Nocturnal that were promised by Stewart.
I just don't know if they are set up to do that, but we'll see if we can at least start getting some packages out.
Also, just like last month, I wanted to point out that if you need information more frequently than these monthly Updates, we have several ways to get that to you. The first is to review my weekly Monday Meeting Notes blog, which you can find on our website, here: http://theonyxpath.com/category/news/monday-meeting/
Down near the end we have a weekly progress report on all of our ongoing projects, starting with the Initial Draft stage of when writers have started writing, all the way to the At Press stage of when projects are getting completed and towards being made available. You can also get the weekly blog emailed to you, so you don't have to hunt for it, by joining our Onyx Path Mailing List on the right side of our website.
You can ask questions in the comments for the Monday Meeting Notes blog which I pop in to answer during the course of the week, and also ask questions on our Twitter and Facebook accounts, and on our Onyx Path forums where we have sections dedicated to our game lines.
Finally, as this comes up a lot: if you need to change your address after the Backer Surveys have gone out and been returned, you can access your Survey response using the same url as for the Survey and make the changes needed right there. Easy peasy!
